Carecall can help and support those who are:
- at increased risk of falling;
- at risk of admission / re-admission to hospital;
- returning home from hospital or intermediate care;
- in the early stages of dementia; or
- require support, reassurance and assistance to maintain their independence.
It can also be used for customers who may have a medical condition, such as epilepsy or diabetes and supports independence, security and peace of mind.
Customers are provided with an alarm unit and a pendant which can be worn in a number of ways. Should the customer need help they can press the pendant and an alarm is raised at our Telecare Centre. Our fully trained and dedicated call handlers will instantly know the callers details and are in a position to begin providing help or assistance.
Emergencies are responded to within minutes by arranging help from a nominated friend, your doctor, emergency services or from fully trained, friendly mobile wardens (Stockport area only).

If customers are in distress or need help, they simply press the button on the unit or on the pendant and the alarm is raised at our Telecare Centre, where our dedicated call handlers will instantly recognise the caller and deal with their problem.
