Jackie has been a Carecall and Concierge Officer for over four years, since joining Stockport Homes in 2012.
Jackie’s role is very varied, from providing a mobile response service to customers who may have fallen in their home – to operating CCTV and working with partner agencies to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour and criminal activity.
Jackie enjoys the variety of the role and the different types of customers she gets to come into contact with. She says:
"I really enjoy the fact that every day is so different. On Monday I might be on emergency response, attending to people who have fallen at home and need assistance getting up. Then on Tuesday, I might be working in the Control Room and helping to keep our residents safe, by identifying and reporting anti-social or criminal behaviour. I really feel like I’m making a difference for people living in our community and the team all work well together to provide the best service possible for customers.”
